Emissions calculation with HBEFA 3.2

If you have selected the option Calculation in accordance with HBEFA in Settings (see Route planning settings), TLNplanner internet calculates the emission values for each route based on HBEFA (Handbook Emission Factors for Road Transport).

 

As opposed to version 3.1, the following improvements are included:

• Updated emission factors for Euro 5 and 6.

• In addition to emissions class Euro 6, the emissions level Euro 6c was introduced for trucks and vans.

Emission class 6 can be interpreted as EURO 6a/b. The introduction of emission levels 6a and 6b is at a later point in time.

 

The emissions calculation includes several factors, such as vehicle properties, load (weight) and route profile (inclines).
