What is a toll scenario?

When calculating costs and distances, various toll scenarios are taken into account.

A toll scenario contains details on a country's toll charges based on certain assumptions and which are valid as from a certain date.

Example: In the future a new road type will be charged toll in France. Some information on the amount of toll and the supposable starting data is known in advance. However, verified or official data is not yet available at present. TLNplanner internet therefore offers you a toll scenario "France + New road type". The toll scenario is valid from 01/01/2020, for example.

In route planning the toll scenarios which are valid at the specified departure time are always referred to when calculating costs.

Note: If you want to know what effect future toll changes have on your transport costs, you can change the departure date in route planning accordingly.
